Be Kind Project

Mission Statement:
We are a group of high school students who are interested in participating in the anti-bullying dialogue. To do this, we have been exploring many outlets such as creating PSA’s, brainstorming documentary ideas, and just creating a space within our larger group to discuss our concerns about bullying. From the first instance we witnessed bullying to the times we were bullied ourselves, we have felt in our hearts that something must be done to combat the bullying phenomenon which we have seen can be disastrous; on a macro level, to community building but also to self-esteem- bullying can create individuals with life-long anxieties and depression and family dynamic.

The Be Kind Group created two public service announcements (PSA): Be Kind and A Message from Mestizo.
